Course transformation

Before: I don’t understand how to use twitter; i don’t know how to launch products; how am I?

After: it’s easy for me to use Twitter. I can launch my products with social media now.

——

This course is about changing the patterns of how you use the Internet so you can launch your projects with ease and get sustainable income.

Principles are the same for growing Twitter audience or startup users

Core ideas:

  • only 1% of people create
  • use as IM
  • not 1 tweet/day, rather 50
  • regularly find new people to engage
  • genuinely comment/like/reply
  • reply to every comment
  • have a big mission and goal
  • get rejections daily
  • don’t miss a day
  • don’t follow dreams of other; find your specific knowledge; people love authenticity and uniqueness
  • it’s about the consciousness
  • growth feels like suffering and stress
  • we need to learn and apply new skills daily (indiehacking)

Profile is your landing page: ⁃ keep bio+banner+tweet on brand ⁃ have big story ⁃ support big story with banner and pinned tweet ⁃ just change profile daily to learn ⁃ people should know you for something specific ⁃ you can’t be everything to everyone, proudly exclude and push your principles

When replying: ⁃ add the name in the end of tweet ⁃ learn the twitter page and add specific context for new people ⁃ end with question to continue the convo ⁃ make tweet standalone so it can be retweeted

Fundamental principles: if you want 1 like leave 10 likes if you want retweet, make 10 retweets if you want support on your launch day, support other makers and set the alarm, like it yours product It takes a long time

Move based on data: ⁃ twitter analytics; impressions/profile visits ⁃ views number ⁃ steal from others ⁃ templates work

Make friends: ⁃ find people on the same path as you with deferent sizes and support ⁃ support them when other don’t ⁃ learn their names, what they build, why, what’s their background, something about their life ⁃ use their products, record demo, share honest feedback ⁃ buy their products ⁃ invite them on a call

What to quote and what to retweet

Learn: ⁃ ask for help in public (but develop the relation first

Sell your own sawdust ⁃ publish portfolio works ⁃ help other people daily with service (growth) ⁃ write the update for the day like it’s slack ⁃ tweet about every action you do (changed bio? tweet; made mistake? tweet, learned some truth, tweet)

Fighting impostor syndrome: ⁃ let the bad thing happen, nobody cares ⁃ share what you learned today / last week / month / year. If it would be helpful for you back then, most likely it useful for much more people

create 100 times for 1-10 good pieces REPURPOSE and retweet (same day is good)

Present Everything ⁃ publish if you did smth; if you can’t publish don’t do it ⁃ publish every section from the website

Fight author block: ⁃ write about block ⁃ write about your feelings

Launch/Distribute ⁃ launch the same day you got the idea (simple tweet explaining value prop and stripe link) ⁃ prepare chats and threads to plug your link organically at the day of launch (eg questions on podcast) ⁃ every day you should aim to get momentum (increase objective results daily; 10 views today, 20 views tomorrow) ⁃ every day make more and more people know you ⁃ build rabbit holes from backlinks ⁃ plug the link to the tweet in the comments

Content Types (what works) ⁃ always target tiniest format for consuming (tweet, short video, short interview). Add subtitles ⁃ share your face and videos so people know you and how you act (relate with you) ⁃ it takes 5 times for people to remember you ⁃ wins, failures, numbers, milestones, gifs, face. dollars ⁃ publish the summary that you’ve read ⁃ people need to be reminded more than instructed. don’t expect anything big happen because one tweet, spread it over time to have a story

How to increase Tweet visibility: ⁃ comment ⁃ tag people related to comment ⁃ retweets (make it easy and pushing to retweet)

Transformation

Copywriting ⁃ start and end strong ⁃ read out loud before posting ⁃ change focus, reread and edit ⁃ use 7th grade grammar, don’t use adverbs

Igor Krasnik, [1 Jul 2023 at 20:02:56]: ⁃ always be specific and add numbers ⁃ include strong divisive opinion ⁃ end with direct and super simple CTA ⁃ if it a big piece review the next day with someone

Storytelling ⁃ always about the change ⁃ relate to people ⁃ use but therefore ⁃ use present time

There’s no clickbait titles, only clickbait content. Deliver on promise or change the title

Think: what can I release in 30 minutes other than otherwise
