Playbook:

0. Set your expectations before the activity [Note: you’ll master this step after 10+ sessions]

  1. Take the limited Focus Time to analyse the time you’ve spent on some activity (eg. call, meeting, book, movie, song, discussion, argument etc., any piece of content)
  2. Understand what were your goals, expectations. Figure out the results and how they match your expectations.
  3. Make conclusions. Publish your learnings (Tweet them!)

Every activity that you do, you do it for some reason.

eg. when you read an article, watch a movie, meet friend, decide that someone is a friend, selecting the stuff for your home or what colour to choose for your bedroom (it’s all called content)

Conscious Consumption mental model is the powerful way to create content and spread your knowledge around. You just reuse the things that you already consume daily anyway.

When you write your thoughts you actually learn them.

So that’s how you wire the learning into your brain.
